LONG ENTRY!
IM GONNA FINISH THE SHANGHAI + HONGKONG LEG OF THE TRIP!!!

Day 4!
Let me see.. what did i do...
OH NO it's fading awayyyyy NOOOOO

Ok day 4 was clubbing night.
As usual, we went out late again. It was already around 4 pm when we left the house.
We had lunch at this restaurant near Tab's place.
We had Old Duck soup, which was fantastic.
Fried egg, Beef with egg, tofu with mushrooms n beef, and this sweet fried butter cake thingy that was really oily hahahaa.

After that we went back to put all our shopping buys and then hit the club!
We went to Ritchie's :)
Everytime I went to the toilet, there would be couples coming out of the cubicle.
So common over there.
Its just baffling how they managed to do things in such small spaces and the toilets were dirty too. Ewwww.

The next day, DAY 5!
We went shopping again!!
and more eating...more shopping...

We saw this clio coddle brand
HAHAHAHAH
i think it's supposed to be crocodile or something
We agreed it looked more like a slug than anything else

Then we went to this street that had lots of bicycles and roadside stalls

And then to QiPuLu!!!
Btw, the guys HATED that place!
Coz the clothes for guys were really ugly
but there were really nice lingerie n clothes n bags for the ladiessss
They named it People's Park :(
So didnt get to explore much coz of the 2 sulking men!
hehehe

Anyway, after that Tab brought us to this small street where they had small quaint cafes and shops. Really nice.
We settled for pizza at New York Style Pizza where they served really huge pizza.
The owner was too friendly!
He's from HongKong and lived in the US for a long time so he could speak english.
Gave us a complimentary dessert :)

Then we took a cab back and bought groceries :)
Shouch was excited to be riding that mini bus
And inspired Perry to ride one too HAHAHA
I've a video of them riding those things and it's too funny...
and demeaning to their reputation HAHAHAHAHA
So im not putting it up

And since we were carrying heavy groceries,
we decided to take this tuktuk like thingy.
Even though the grocery store was in the same estate as Tab's place.
As I mentioned earlier, her estate consists of about 90 blocks so it was really quite far walking from one end to the other.
OK OK we were just tired n lazy...

OK so that was end of DAY 5.

The next day, was my 2nd anniversary with Perry ;)
20062008
Guess what.
As a surprise, Tab woke up extra early to buy groceries for breakfast and with the help of Shouch, cooked us a really nice breakfast!
Everything's yummy! :)
French toasts, egg, cherry tomatoes and bacon.
There were supposed to be sausages but Tab, being the klutz that she still is, ovenbaked the sausages wrapped in microwave foil.
So the plastic melted into the sausages HAHAHAHAHAHAAH

After breakfast/lunch, we went to the fabric market to collect the shirts that the guys had ordered.
Perry tailor-made 2 long sleeve shirts + 10 short sleeve shirts + 3 working pants + 2 berms for 200 bucks. and they fit perfectly.

But before that, we took pics at tab's estate n also of her block.
So sad that we were leaving the next day.
We had such a blast in Shanghai...

After collecting the shirts,
we had amazing road side food.
Chou tofu, fried mee, bbq mushrooms n pork on sticks & fried tofu filled with vegetables

After eating, we rushed to this shopping centre to get Shouch's liangxi and some snacks. We had dinner appointment at el Willy to celebrate perry+i's 2nd anniversary.
But at that time I didnt know where we were eating coz they refused to tell me!!
Perry wanted to give me a surprise. hahaha

This is our trolley

OKKKKK off to el Willy, the most amazing Spanish restaurant ever.
The food was gastronomical.
It has to be one of my favorite eating places of all time.
It's a must-visit if anyone is going to Shanghai.

We had 6 tapas and 2 paella and 1 angel hair pasta with seafood.
ALL ARE VERY VERY VERY GOOD, to the point of being orgasmic.
I enjoyed every bite of everything i put into my mouth.

First tapas (complimentary): amuse bouche : french bread brushed with olive oil, toasted, and served with tomato spread, garnished with olives.

Second tapas: Cod fish with salmon roe

Third tapas: toasted bread with truffles

Fourth tapas: Beef cheeks : cooked 5 hours with bananas and passion fruit

Fifth tapas: Foie gras on toasted bread and scallop, garnished with cheese

Last tapas: Raw scallop with spices and oil

Paella 1: Duck, dried fruits and nuts, juicy paella

Paella 2: Shanghai crabs paella

Angel hair pasta with seafood:

After eating, suddenly Perry took tab's paper bag n brought it to the inside of the restaurant ( we were sitting outside ).
And not long after he returned,
the manager and the waiters brought out a plate of desserts
AND another plate with a Prada box on it
AND they started singing happy birthday
AHHAHAHA
until perry told them it's not a birthday.
Sighhhh so sweet la him...

The dessert:

Chocolate cake with melted chocolate in it

Creme brule

Sponge cake and Ginger cake beside it

Then we started feeding each other :)

Inside the Prada box is a salmon pink wallet in satin, lined with leather inside.

Erm we went to buy mcdonald's after that coz we wanted to try the Shanghai mcD

That's all for Shanghai!
The next day, Perry n I went to HK!
And met Sam Ang + Singling :)

ON OUR WAY TO HONGKONG
Beautiful HK... definitely going back there and Macau is a must the next time round

Anyway, we stayed at Kowloon, in this amazing hotel called Nathan Hotel

Hongkong is the one place that was very generous with the prawns.
In everything we ate, the prawns were huge and crunchy.
Very nice.
We had yummy carrot cake:

Yummy crispy chicken

Seafood noodles

Porridge with abalones, prawns and scallops
This is the best porridge i've ever had.
Even better than the scallop porridge from Geylang!!!

And dim sum

Desserts!
I had my fav mango with pomelo and perry of course, had the mango orh bi bei

Then back to the amazing hotel :)
